Community & Upcoming Events

We thank our donors for supporting our annual Day of Giving on June 5th! Our Day of Giving supports our scholarship fund. We raised $3905 on this impactful day!!

Our donors were from the following states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

• 2026 Scholarship luncheon was held on Saturday February 28 in Santee, SC! We had an amazing time at our 2026 William Lee Holman Legacy Education & Community Foundation Scholarship luncheon. Our guest speaker, Bre’Aun Mack was outstanding . We thank all those who joined us, provided donations, support, and contributions for this year’s Scholarship luncheon. • Our 2027 Scholarship applications will be available at Lake Marion High School Guidance Counselor beginning in February. See our Scholarships page for more details.

Back to School donations were provided for the 2nd year to New Galilee Christian Church and Greater Unity AME Church in Holly Hill, SC on August 1, 2026.

We had a wonderful time providing donations to these congregations. We thank the First Bank- Orangeburg for being a community partner this year and providing additional donations for our Back To School donations to these organizations.
