Welcome to March!

Supporting Brilliant Students & Strengthening Communities

Our Scholarship luncheon was great!! We are so thankful for all the support we received for our 2025 Scholarship luncheon. We had a wonderful time!! Our guest speaker, Armondo Williams, our 2024 Scholarship recipient, shared a motivating talk that highlighted his progress in college, the impact our scholarship had to support his dreams and reminded us of the value in investing in young people to help them reach their goals. His talk allowed us to celebrate his accomplishments and was a great reminder of the unlimited potential of the next generation.

Please enjoy a few pictures of our time together below. We also like to thank our wonderful sponsors, Board of Directors, Committee members, Community partner and everyone that joined us!

  • Our sponsors were Shawonda Brockington, Growing Perspectives Career Consulting, and the Class of 1974 of Claflin College (now Claflin University) by King Fogle, Dorothy F. Fulmore and Brenda Milton.
  • Our community partner was First National Bank of South Carolina, in Holly Hill.

Scholarship season is in full swing – We are excited to share we are now accepting applications from our William Lee Holman Legacy Education & Community Foundation Scholarship from March 1- 31, 2025.
