Welcome to February! We are excited to celebrate Black History Month. We will share Black History updates on our foundation’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages this month.
Our 2025 Scholarship application process is now open for students at Lake Marion High School in Santee, SC. Applications can be obtained from Ms. Capers, Guidance Counselor, at the school. Completed applications are accepted by our foundation from March 1 – 31, 2025. We are so excited to support additional brilliant students to attend college, university or trade school.
Our 2025 Scholarship luncheon is almost here! It will be held on Saturday, February 22 in Santee, SC. We invite you to join us and share with others. What you can expect of your time with us:
- A great time!!
- Hearing our dynamic 2024 Scholarship recipient, Armondo Williams, as the luncheon’s guest speaker.
- Meeting & connecting with community members & leaders, family and friends.
- A delicious meal!!
- Meeting our foundation’s Board of Directors and committee members.
- Updates on our foundation’s progress, mission and upcoming events.
Please see the registration link below or scan the QR code on the flyer to purchase a ticket. We kindly ask that tickets are purchased as early in February as possible, to assist with final preparations for a wonderful luncheon. Tickets are available for purchase until Feb. 19. We are unable to accept any orders after that date to allow for adequate planning.
Donations are welcomed and accepted through Givelify at https://giv.li/br1c80 for those unable to join the Scholarship luncheon.
